As a Staff Investment Engineer, you will architect and implement the player progression systems of an Unannounced Project from pre-production to production and beyond, giving designers the ability to engage and delight players across thousands of hours of gameplay. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, cross-discipline team devoted to turning a creative dream into a new franchise at PlayStation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and maintain production-quality player investment systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5 with minimal oversight
- Provide technical guidance to teammates on using and interfacing with such systems, including advising on constraints and best practices.
- Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build new gameplay experiences
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++
- Experience designing and building networked game systems related to long-term player pursuits
- Ability to communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals
- Experience with development using the Unreal Engine
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience working on a live service game
- Experience with development on a variety of platforms (PC, console)
- Experience mentoring or managing engineers
