Responsibilities
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of AMPECO’s platform and the e-mobility industry, with a strong grasp of the DACH market and its requirements;
Act as the solutioning lead on strategic DACH opportunities, working hand in hand with the DACH Business Development Manager to map each prospect’s business needs to AMPECO’s capabilities;
Drive Proof-of-Concept engagements with prospective clients, ensuring the business drivers are sound, relevant, and build a compelling case to advance the opportunity;
Design and deliver effective demonstrations that connect AMPECO’s solution advantages to prospects’ business and technical requirements;
Build and maintain trusted relationships with the key stakeholders involved in DACH deals, becoming a credible advisor throughout the sales cycle;
Take an active advisory role during sales cycles, bringing solution expertise and industry best practices to the team;
Own bid management for DACH opportunities — taking end-to-end responsibility for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, from structuring and writing the response to coordinating input across teams and managing deadlines;
Represent AMPECO at industry events across the region and stay close to market trends, the competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs;
Travel across the DACH region as needed for customer engagements, workshops, and events.
Your Profile
6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or similar sales-focused role within enterprise or B2B software;
Native-level German and fluent English, both spoken and written — you will work with German-speaking enterprise customers daily;
Strong pre-sales execution skills: solution design, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, and bid / RFx management;
Tech-savvy and a fast learner on technical topics — comfortable holding technical conversations and explaining how the platform works, without needing to be a deeply technical specialist or engineer;
A confident communicator, able to build rapport and credibility with senior business and technical stakeholders and to present complex topics clearly;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex challenges and shape solutions for evolving business models;
Strong business acumen — able to articulate customer value and connect AMPECO’s platform to strategic outcomes;
Based in Germany, self-driven and well-organised, and comfortable operating effectively in a remote, distributed team across the DACH region;
Naturally curious, with a genuine interest in continuously learning about the product and the industry;
A collaborative team player who works seamlessly with Sales, Product, and other specialists;
Motivated to build a long-term career in the e-mobility sector.
Considered an advantage
Domain knowledge in mobility, energy, or a related sector;
Familiarity with EV charging technology and standards such as OCPP, OCPI, or ISO 15118;
Experience working in a SaaS or PaaS environment with long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles;
Background in consulting or professional services;
Experience in enterprise sales;
Fluency in an additional European language (e.g. French, Italian).
