Customer Service Advisor (German)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit German speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their team in Bulgaria.

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Location: remote, Bulgaria (after initial one week training in Varna office)

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional customer service to German-speaking customers via voice and email

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve technical and billing-related issues

• Record all customer interactions accurately in the relevant systems

• Manage product complaints and collect all necessary information for resolution

• Ensure customer issues are handled efficiently and within the required processes

• Escalate product safety or regulatory concerns through the defined channels

• Follow established quality standards, consumer safety requirements and GDPR procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services

• Act as a professional brand ambassador during customer interactions

• Identify and include appropriate sales and cross-sell opportunities during customer interactions

• Share recurring customer issues and insights to support continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• German language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency at B1 level

• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required

• Customer service, technical support or call centre experience is an advantage

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle complaints professionally

• Good troubleshooting skills and technical understanding

• Comfortable working with customer service systems and processes

• Strong attention to detail when documenting customer interactions

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

• EU citizenship or appropriate eligibility to work in Bulgaria.
