Medical Clerk

Only LATAM-based candidates (bilingual in Spanish and English)

We are seeking adetail-oriented and organized Medical Clerkto support the administrative operations of a U.S.-based medical office. This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare administration who is comfortable handling patient records, scheduling, and general office coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Maintain and update patient records in theEMR/EHR system.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Upload, organize, and manage medical documentation.
  • Assist with processing forms, referrals, and other administrative paperwork.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
  • Coordinate with providers and internal staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient information in compliance withHIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experienceworking in a medical office or healthcare administrative role.
  • Experience withEMR/EHR systems(such as Athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar).
  • Basic understanding ofU.S. medical insuranceis a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbalEnglish communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote workspace.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience scheduling patients in aU.S. medical practice.
  • Familiarity withinsurance verification, referrals, or authorizations.
  • Experience supporting physicians or healthcare teams remotely.
