Required Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory Qualifications
- Must meet either one of the below qualifications.
- Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of six (6) years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in a relevant discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience; OR
- Certificate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience; OR
- Minimum ten (10) years of directly related experience.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated physician recruitment experience.
- Knowledge and experience with British Columbia physician licensing requirements.
- Experience working with international medical graduates (IMGs).
- Understanding of CPSBC eligibility and licensure processes.
- Experience supporting physician immigration processes.
- Proven ability to recruit hard-to-fill healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Canadian-based recruitment consulting experience.
- Strong healthcare recruitment network, particularly in psychiatry and mental health services.
- Experience recruiting physicians for public healthcare organizations.
- Knowledge of healthcare workforce planning and physician retention strategies.
