This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on advanced physics problem creation, domain-specific reasoning review, technical writing, research-informed task development, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their physics expertise to create difficult problems in their specialized domain, evaluate technical reasoning, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based physics workflows.

Advanced Physics Problem Creation
- Create difficult,domain-specific physics problems across advanced theoretical,mathematical, and applied physics areas
- Develop problems that requirerigorous reasoning, technical accuracy, mathematical formalism, and deepsubject matter understanding
- Write clear referencesolutions, expected reasoning paths, and structured answer explanations
- Ensure submitted work reflectsstrong domain knowledge and high-quality scientific standards
Technical Review & Scientific Reasoning
- Review physics outputs forcorrectness, clarity, completeness, and reasoning quality
- Evaluate assumptions,derivations, mathematical steps, physical interpretation, and conclusionsagainst domain-specific standards
- Identify reasoning gaps,unsupported conclusions, ambiguity, and expected technical outcomes
- Provide structured feedbackthat improves task quality and evaluation consistency
Research-Informed Task Development

Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- PhD in Physics or a closelyrelated field
- Strong expertise in one or moreadvanced physics subdomains, such as statistical mechanics, condensedmatter physics, AMO physics, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, classicalmechanics, string theory, QFT, particle physics, nuclear physics, generalrelativity, astrophysics, or cosmology
- Graduate degree from a U.S.,U.K., Canadian, Western European, or comparable research university
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills in English
- High attention to detail andstrong analytical judgment
- Ability to follow complexinstructions and produce rigorous technical outputs independently
Educational Background
- PhD in Physics is stronglypreferred
- Research experience, academicpublications, postdoctoral work, teaching experience, or advancedtechnical writing experience is highly relevant
- Equivalent high-level researchexperience in applied physics, theoretical physics, astrophysics, orclosely related fields may also be valuable depending on project scope
